Welcome to Great Southern WA DSA
The Disabled Surfers Association is a not-for-profit organisation and its sole aim is to give people with varying disabilities the opportunity to have a safe, happy and dignified surfing experience - come and experience it for yourself. We need helpers for jobs both in and out of the surf - the more, the merrier!
DSA Great Southern was formed in 2017 after 3 years of DSA South West visiting Middleton Beach for annual Surfing Days culminating with the first of the Great Southern club’s 3 days in 2018 and now 4 days.

No surfing experience needed!
Participants must be accompanied by a support person (carer or family).
All surfing gear supplied on the day for participants, free barbeque and awards following event.
Ramp to water, accessible toilets/change rooms and accessible parking.
We are supported by various local business and organisations including:
New Trailer - Freemasons Albany & Southwest, Bunbury Prison and The Grand Lodge.

Our events are held at Middleton Beach from 9am (registration) and in the water until 9am with a 12 noon event finish,
